Self-penned duo “Daddy Don’t Drink” & “Try Texas” Out Now

Road-tested troubadour Larry Fleet adds to his catalogue today with a double dose of southern truths, dropping a pair of fresh singles, “Daddy Don’t Drink” and “Try Texas”

On both Joey Moi-produced originals – one, a deeply personal ode to the life-changing effects of fatherhood, the other, a feel-good tribute to a fresh start in the Lone Star state – Fleet’s undeniable vocal ability and sharp, self-penned lyrics shine.“It’s special any time you get to release new music, but I’m really proud of these two – especially ‘Daddy Don’t Drink,’ which will always have a place in my heart,” Fleet shares. “I love writing about what I know and I’m looking forward to people giving ’em a listen.”

This weekend, Fleet will take his show on the road with Larry Fleet Live, an 11-date headline sprint across the South and Midwest with labelmate Ben Burgess in tow. Nearly every stop is sold-out, including shows at The Caverns in Pelham, Tenn., Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, Ga., The Orange Peel in Asheville, N.C., and The Senate in Columbia, S.C. – get tickets here while they are available.

“Kicking off my second ever headlining tour, the guys and I have been workin’ hard at dialing everything in and making sure that everyone that comes out to our show leaves having had a dang good time,” the soulful singer-songwriter says of the upcoming run. “I can’t wait to get back on the road and play this new music for so many people.”
